Assisted Outpatient Treatment"
( AOT)
AOT is for certain people with mental illness who in view of their treatment
history and present circumstances, are unlikely to survive safely in the
community without supervision. This presentation will provide an overview
of the history of this law, eligibility determination, and services connected
with it.

Center

Monday, April 28th, Monthly Support
Meeting
6:30-8:30
Support Groups for parents, siblings, spouses/ partners, adult children
and
people in recovery. Groups are led by trained NAMI facilitators.
Provides opportunity to establish understanding friendships, share thoughts
feelings and experiences in a supportive atmosphere, problem solve, explore
ways of coping with the challenges of mental illness and learn about mental
illness and the service delivery system. This meeting is ½ hour
longer than educational meeting.
